Jennifer graduated from Homewood High in 1994, where she helped lead the volleyball team to two State Championships. She was named to the 5A All-State team in 1992 and 1993 and named the State Tournament MVP in 1992.
Jennifer attended Samford University from 1994-1998 on a full volleyball scholarship. She was the starting setter and a team captain in 1996 and 1997, and she was named the team MVP in 1997. She currently holds the career record at Samford for service aces.
She began coaching while in college at the Birmingham Volleyball Club, and has continued coaching over the past 25 years. Since she’s had to move a lot, she’s had the opportunity to coach all across the south in both club and school programs. She has coached in Savannah, Atlanta, Little Rock, and Washington, D.C. Now that she’s returned to Alabama, she looks forward to helping athletes in the Cullman area.
